Darkan seems to allow hosting a world, but currently needs connection and account registration to Darkan’s lobby to connect to the local world. DarkanRS/Server looks like the place to watch for the combined open-source lobby code.

I got it running (similar to what I did with 2009Scape’s RT4-Client with Gradle), some mix of Java 17-23, and client ran from Darkan’s Windows MSI on Dev (couldn’t get the standalone jar to connect but --host= seems useful?)
