2004scape should be considered a slow burn side game

I think a lot of us who are chronic Runescape players over the years, maybe even decades, are so used to the habit of dumping 10+ hours a day, losing sleep, playing hooky, avoiding obligations/commitments with family and friends, disregarding other video games, etc. all just to get more GP, more XP, rise up the hiscores, beat all the quests.

I dropped that style after realizing others can dedicate more time to that better

I can do multi-hour sessions maybe once a week if I’m watching TV or doing some other stuff (like setting up another game server), but afaik there’s no obligation to rush for anything unless you’re XP leaderboard competing.
