Too many crashers, trolls, and generally unfriendly/antisocial people as it is. Now that world’s are halved, you’re far more likely to run into them. Ignoring them doesn’t make them go away either. Bring back the worlds…
Be glad we have multiple worlds at all… *looks at RSC Preservation*
People are people; if you’re going to avoid em in a MMORPG on low-pop worlds, why not just run a singleplayer instance?
Hey Cody, in case you didn’t see my reply here let me link it - There are too many worlds - #19 by Pazaz
Very good post. Much Support!
@Pazaz your linked post is a great answer
Just want to say one final idea on this:
Remember to use timezones as an advantage… Late at night, with less population can be used to do things where people could crash you. Less risk.
^This was also a strategy back in those years + all the way up to recently…
I am for keeping the community together and not being split so much. We don’t want a RS3/OSRS split, as an example… Just maybe strategize with your activities at certain times of the day.
Anyway, GL… I’ve so far had no issues
maybe try deep wildy spots if your being crashed
That’s a good point. The original design was for people to be in the wildy actually fighting for resources.
I think these things make the game, this is how rivalries are formed, and perhaps the beginning of clans to compete in the world. Brings the game more character, and brings individual players alive. Theres a player to which i wont name that is notorious for stealing essence from nature rune crafters at the general store and i think he adds more personality to the game as long as he isnt breaking any rules. Struggle, strive to get where you want to go for itll be worth while when u finally reach there. Its the journey not the destination
