/ trawler reward was reworked early 2007. So its way different than osrs

Not worth doing if you are going for xp or cash. It was nice for a community type engagement / interaction. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Murphy says some crazy stuff and the ship on the minimap reminds me of the austin power scene with the radar.
Ill need to clean up the videos when i get home and post it.

This was a lot of fun! I just wish I had kept track of how much exp I got for the few runs we did. It was definitely a blast, maybe if we had the whole server there it would be a bit more worthwhile, outside of just being a community get-together haha.

I was legit thinking last night how awesome it would be to PK with sea turtles as food. Maybe I gotta get my fishing up for the next one!

Would be cool if either before or after rare weekend (maybe 2-3 hours before and after) we organized community events to try and bring some life to some content that may not be as relevant or worth the time. Last week WartimeRS on YT hosted a dueling event and a few showed up and it was a fun time, possibly even creating a community event tracking forum like the rare drop thread we have going to keep people engaged and give a sense of community for those who are new or trying to make new friends or those who aren’t part of any clans.

I like that idea also dakoda. I dont think you can get randoms while doing the trawler and if they are tied into rares… yeah.
So trying to get a fishing trawler tonight at 8:00pm est.
