how will updates work? like after legends quest are we getting any more updates or not until till 05 version?

From what I’ve gathered when we get updates it will be in order of of available cache versions.
Right now we’re on build 225 from18 May 2004 which released Big Chompy Bird Hunting.
236 2 June 2004 Elemental Workshop Quest
237 2 June 2004
238 3 June 2004
240 8 June 2004 Agility improved and bug fixes
241 14 June 2004 Special Attacks
So it won’t be VERY long into updates but it probably won’t be the first update after legends.
Edit: Pazaz in his interview seemed to point that he wants to release updates similar to how it was back in the day. Every few weeks. New content. Then. When we get to December 2004. The server will fork and they’ll split it 2004/2005.

Yes. Your file with get copied. You can play on both but if you play on 05 you won’t be able to log into 04 and have the same skills you gained in 05.
December 2004 was Castle Wars, that release is going to be H.Y.P.E.

Whole point is to preserve every era of the game.
You can still Download the source since it’s open ? Splitting servers will not be healthy for the community

I spent all of 2007-2008 in Castle Wars. Didn’t even notice Free Trade going away. You bet I’ll do something similar here ^^
