Why can't I make all or cook all

new player here.

I’m currently woodcutting/fletching and it’s a pain to use knife on each individual log to make shafts or bows.

will there be an update to this at all in the future?

Hello and welcome! Different skills got make-x at different times.

Fletch-X was added in September 2004: Update:Skills, Duels and the Kalphite - The RuneScape Wiki
Cook-X was added in September 2005: Update:Cook-X - The RuneScape Wiki

We’ll get both of these eventually but it’ll be a while yet.
