Anyone goals or achievements?
Were there steel drags in the Shilo area dungeon? Cannot remember but I have heard there will be Kalphite Queen and Barrows.
I am looking to do some PVM and herblore.
When does members come out , has it been confirmed?
I’m not overly sure what my plans will be.
At the minute I’m 1 def, but thinking I’ll be very limited staying there.
Based on the Pazaz interview yesterday it was hinted that members will come on may 18th, or around there, as that’s the date this version is based on.
KQ will be the first out of those 3, being released sept 2004. Iron/Steel dragons weren’t released until jan 2005, 1-2 weeks before slayer release. A bit of a fun fact is that d legs were in the game for 2 months before d skirt was added to the drop table in march 2005. And with barrows being tier 70 armour/weapons, it didnt get released until may 2005.
I haven’t decided yet if I want to rush the member skills or members quest. Maybe a mix of both? Herblore will for sure be hard with limited vials in the shops and no herbs or members secondaries on the market initially. With fletching you can at least prepare the logs now.
Im also very looking forward to the release of morytania, burthorpe/troll stronghold and relekka, with the first quests being released june-july 2004.
I’ll start by leveling all the members skills a bit - basic levels in agility will help a lot. Fletching and thieving to make some money.
Then I’ll start knocking out the members quests. I’m super excited for Underground Pass, completing it with authentic 2004 items/stats/death mechanics will be no mean feat.
Herbloremaxxing will be important too, there’s a lot of secondaries we can’t currently gather in f2p right now so that’ll be an early priority as well. Crafting/filling vials is going to be a drag, but necessary…
Kalphite Queen came out a few months after our version so it won’t be in-game on release. Barrows is 2005 content so there’s a ways to go for that.
@Martin - Thanks for this update. With that in mind, clue scrolls will be another favorite. Google has proven to be terrible for what was released during May 2004.
