What type of cow hide is most wanted?

I’m trying to make some early money with cows while CB training. What hide types are most wanted so I can tan them right?

Probably hard leather as it is a 1 click action to make into bodies.

Definitely hard leather as it offers one of the fastest and simplest crafting training methods in the game. Hard leather tends to go for 100-200gp more than cow hide, and both fetch very nice prices nowadays.
