Treasure Trails Question - Clue Scrolls not dropping

Is there anything I specifically need to do before I can get a clue scroll drop? I’ve been farming a long time and haven’t gotten one so want to make sure I don’t need to do some prerequisite first.

Just completed the Observatory Quest to be sure since I felt like that had something to do with it, but having completed it, I didn’t get an option to get a chart or anything anyway.

Anything else I need to do to get a drop besides persistence or am I wasting my time because I haven’t completed some other criteria yet?

Theirs no prerequisite quest for Clue Scrolls to drop, as long as its on the table for that npc its just a matter of luck.

They’re 1/128. So you just got bad RNG. Took me over 350 Blue dragons to get my first hard clue. Got 6 more during the next 650 Blue dragons, however.

After a while it averaged out to 1/148 or so so yeah. Just RNG.

Everyone knows that 1/128 means you are guaranteed to get it after 128 kills. :^)

so there’s still different tiers of clues still. been killing goblins thinkin there wasn’t a difference lmao.

They had just recently added. That was what I was trying to get easy clues from originally and was not getting any hence the post.

Tribesmen can also now drop mediums, added at the same time as Thugs.
