Specialty account builds

Just a question out of curiosity, what is everyone running for their account builds? I’ve always found it fun to try to main a limited build to make the game more challenging (I know, redundant with 2004scape). I personally am trying to see how hard it is to main a runepure/zerker build for everything in game.

Im making a quested pure. Im going to finish every quest and keep my defense only quested rewards.

It’s been tough for me to decide. Any unique account you make needs to make its own money which is a massive hinderance. The strict item transfer restriction enforcement is absolutely not authentic to 2004 rs2, but at the same time, I can’t argue there’s a reasonable compromise that wouldn’t be exploited by the masses so whatever.

For the time being I’m training a pure def account that I might make a skiller and I have a 1 def pure/main on the backburner that I could train up or make a zerker, etc.

I totally agree, I’m totally against multilogging. I never understood it to be honest, I’ve only ever played for the love of the game, and the social aspect. All that being said, what’s your single accounts build?

I totally agree that making money in this game is going to be a MASSIVE grind, but that’s the fun of it in my opinion you know? When you finally get to a point where the build is viable, you feel pride. Though I’m not sure in the slightest how a zerker is going to do against KBD once they release members.

And that’s totally a valid build, definitely a fun one for sure.

ive never really thought of that! what would the end result be do you know?

Pretty sure its like 41 or 42 defense. I’m not 100% sure but I know if you quest it the right way its a zerker pure.

I’ve had the hardest time trying to find that list for 04. I knew that was how you were supposed to do it in the long run but its definitely a challenge to get it down right

I’m thinking 10 HP and defence pures have got to be wicked hard in 2004. Big props to whoever winds up on the leaderboard for those. I think we have one 10 HP enjoyer already - @10Hp

Yeah I think being fully quested is definitely a good idea but not technically required if you want to run a 1 defense pure. There are plenty of ways to make money too.

I think the strat until P2P is to get as close as possible to all the p2p req’s (70 ranged, 60 attack, 44 runecrafting, 76 fishing, 80+ WC with saved logs for early fletching lvls, 50-60 crafting, etc. but just do whatever you find to be fun IMO doesn’t have to be everything.

its wild to think of the possibilities of the future here just to see what some people are capable of, and getting to experience first hand the history over again, just with new players and people.

Yes, 10 Hp is my F2p skiller account. 34 qps, 31 prayer 40 mage and 25 attack . I plan on staying f2p. Im playing a 1 def pure atm which will go “members” so progress is slow on both. I also created South0ffally. An area locked account I play on osrs that is restricted to the area south of Falador (Falador cows, Port Sarim, Rimminton, Asgarnia Ice Dungeon and Karamja docks up to the general store). In 2004 scape I will be playing South0ffally but only selling (No buying). To keep with the area lock vibe (this account has only completed witches potion and killed highwayman for the black cape so far) will be a while before i decide to play it).

Going main, playing without internet guides (asking from players in game or forums does not count). Going to be interesting and nostalgic ride!
