When is Spec bar coming out? PKing without it seems pointless

Special attacks were added in June 2004 which will be covered by the next update.

Why exaggerate? Even if it’s not as fun or mechanically deep, that doesn’t mean it’s pointless. You can still get loot from PKing without a spec bar.
MSB to DBaxe is deadly. No spec required.
That being said, specs are included in the next update. Last ETA for the update was sometime in June. But remember, the Devs do this in their free time. If the timeline isn’t met, don’t be too let down.

For deep wildy pking, if someone is safeing there’s literally no way to kill them, unless they run out of food, and since there’s no tb too it’s even harder

That’s kind of the point of this server, you get to experience what it was like at a point in time before certain updates e.g. specs, tele block, ancients.
I’m curious, what did you think you were signing up for when you made an account?

I hope it’ll be released close to the original timeline. Think PK will boom. Also player count probably.
Yes but it will be the same result the game will trickle down people will get bored and complain for the next update etc it will be never ending until we get it o 2005 where’s there a ton of new content especially for new players.
I dont know man. You would be surprised how big the group is that like playing and pking during this era. People will always complain and ask for new updates.
If we want a bigger player base, we ourselves should also feel responsible. A huge amount of the vets probably dont even know about lost city. Advertising by social media and specifically content would be a great step towards that.

We are currently on build 225 and the next build in progress is 244. So everything between 225->244 will be in the next major client upgrade.

There is no date picked in time. Devs work on this in their free time as a hobby you’re welcome to help code it as well the more people the quicker updates come out
Yeah I’ve read it. I enjoy the game in its current state, so there’s no rush for me. And I’d also fully understand if there will be different dates compared to the original release dates.
But as far as future updates the special attack is high on my want list. It changes so much in terms of KO potential, pking and even npc killing. The MSB and DDS are on my top list, also memory wise.
