Runecrafting experience

I was wondering, what is the fastest way to train Runecrafting in F2P? Is it Air Runes or Body Runes? Body Runes give more XP per essence, but the altar is quite far from a bank. Does the long walking distance make Air Runes a better option for XP rates?

What do you guys think?

I haven’t tested body runes, but tested air and fire runes. Airs is about 5k/h and fires is about 6k/h. The downside with fires is you will never profit, while airs you start profiting when you can craft 5x airs, and it gets better every 11 lvls.

Probably best to stop at 44 rc and wait for members to rc nats. We will also have agility at that point, which will speed it up (energy pots doesn’t exist yet).

Fires will probably be best if you have a lot of duel rings come members but most people (myself included) did airs 1-44.

Thanks for comment. Will go for 44

Thanks for comment, will go for 44 at airs

I’ll note if you have excess laws it MIGHT be faster to craft minds and tele back to Falador but I’m not positive.

I’ve also seen people mine essence at the Wizards tower and walk to Lumbridge swamp to water altar and repeat.

However I’m almost positive neither of these beat airs or fires with duel ring.

There also might be a method where you sell 25 noted essence to Al Kharid general store. By them back. And craft them at the altar. This should be faster than banking back and forth.

I was told by the top runecrafters that earth runes are the highest xp/hr.

But nobody wants earth runes nobody is going to help run ess for earths.

The nature runecrafting meta in this era is glory to Al-kharid and fly to the crashed glider on Karamja, right?

You can Glory->Glider->tree stump over river-> nature altar

But I’m almost positive going to the general store near brimhaven, selling noted essence, buying them back, and walking to the altar is faster. Could be wrong.
