Honestly most of us dont hang on the first page where you click play now, maybe ad in some ads on those webpages we dont use often. maybe not the market pages but the main ones, owner can generate revenue and i dont think player base will really care? just download client if you dont like seeing em the first couple pages

Making any sort of money on this project is a good way to attract the ire of Jagex.

making money off this game to keep it running would be a mistake.
Pazaz doesn’t want to make any profit off of this, if you’d like to support the hosting/etc. he has a https://ko-fi.com/pazaz, where you can donate to support him and by extension the project.
Also market is a player-run thing, not official.
