Question for the mods

As I’m doing an Ironman it’s pretty competitive for law runes. Would it be bannable if I sold 100 law runes to the shop ton an alt then Logged on my iron and bought them from the shop ? I wouldn’t be giving them to the account I’d still have to pay my iron GP. I just wanna know for a future reference. The rune shop specifically so I wouldn’t be getting any unfair advantage and still paying the meant prices via the store

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that will get you in some trouble.
There are plenty of options for monsters that drop law runes.
You can search for specific items here: Drop Tables | 2004Scape

Kinda goes against being an ironman too if you’re too just buying your own supplies from the general stores.

Interesting question. It seems to me that you’d be providing an advantage to your other account by making items available where they weren’t previously.

I know you’re not intending to break the rules but consider how it might look to other mods who haven’t read this thread. This seems like a “if you have to ask…” type thing.

Plus as Dakoda says I feel like you’d regret this later as far as your ironman’s integrity. Slippery slope and all that.

Hobgoblins are easy to kill and drop law runes and limpwurts at a decent rate!

Not really as this is a thing in osrs Ironman mode itself their are shops you can buy / sell items to for your iron.

Irons cannot buy any item overstocked in a shop, if the shop should have been full and you just restocked it on another account sure, that would work in OSRS too.

I feel like every rune shop always being sold out is a kind of unique feature of this era and circumventing it in that way is sorta going against the spirit of what this game is supposed to be. I kill chaos druids, giants and moss giants for laws/other stuff, did barbarians for a bit in f2p for earlier combat levels too.

Laws are definitely a pain though and it makes methods where a teleport is required pretty unviable, Looking forward to that Law Altar!

Agreed. I’m just gonna stick to keeping the purest form of iron moving forward even if rules change.

Bonesaw was de-ironed in 2014 OSRS for transferring items through shops to his ironman. Jagex has become incredibly lax when it comes to protecting the integrity of the game.

Just kill some druids, they’re a surprisingly good source for laws
