I’m staying 40 attack and 43 prayer. But I won’t be pking anytime soon just skilling for now.

Cows are still good GP, 40-50 per hide. Lots of bones for prayer. Monks at the monastery good starter as well if you don’t need the loot.
Wizards are good for runes, but get at least 20 range for some chaps with magic defense or 40 preferably.
Al-Khared warriors not bad for training as well. Even (hill) Giants if you don’t mind banking for food, or can flick protect from melee if you have it.
I might go for 40 range next then, then i could go to wizards and get some runes and make a little cash?

Started my pure today, sticking with 20 attack for now. Training at cows to make money, then I’m going to buy food at some point and train at al kharid warriors.

im currently a pure but I think i’m going to do a fully quested pure. With members should be around 40ish defense so like a 2004 version of a zerker

What quests should i do as a pure? everything other than dragon slayer?

I’ve unintentionally trained my account with 1 defence. So far enjoying the pure life, and a great base if I decide to change plans with defence. I’ve trained my combat skills on chickens, cows, monks, wizards, hill and moss giants. Training a reliable skill to help provide gp to pay for runes, arrows, and gear is essential. Killing monsters with 1 defence isn’t too friendly for money making unless you’re managing to safe spot kills.

Ive just hit 40 magic and 35 range. Going to go for 50 in both this coming week.
Been mining iron and selling that to fund.

Base 30ish, nothing impressive. Ideally 40 range/55 magic is a short term goal. I’ve been focusing on questing and skilling for majority of my gameplay. I find rune essence exceptional money for the requirements and time it takes to gather. Players are buying them for 20-25gp each, roughly 700gp per essence mine trip.
I want to do the quests next, i struggle to get into them for some reason 
Yeah I think dragonslayer is the only quest that gives def exp right now. Theres a few in members that will also give def exp
