Positive thoughts and appreciation general

I just wanted to dump some positive thoughts about the game here. And I encourage others to do the same here. (:

I genuinely do love this game. Despite a few bumps and bruises, crashers and trolls (and more) along the way, I can say for certain that this is the most fun I’ve had playing, “Runescape,” in a very long time. I’m getting to do everything I’ve always wanted to do back when I was a kid. The death mechanics, however brutal they may be, is just another detail that makes me pay extra close attention to the game- and paying that mind to the game has done a magnificent job at catalyzing the dopamine bursts whenever RNGesus rewards me. Doing clue puzzle boxes by hand, the tedious walks to and from remote locations, the exasperated sighs I let out when I realize I’ve forgotten a teleport out… It just makes me savor whatever rewards I can gather that much more. OSRS has gotten so lifeless and so tedious (CG…), I can’t bear to do anything other than woodcut magic trees for the last few months. Even before the 2004 f2p beta dropped, I was mindlessly mining amethyst for my group-mates, but not doing much of anything else… But here? I built my first 1 defense, made great and beautiful friends while walking the Runecraft trails, I got to experience things I was too afraid to do as a child, I am building wealth I never could have even imagined getting as a kid. I want to thank Pazaz for hosting, Tannerdino for being the #1 contributor and also being a really friendly gal. I want to thank Whoosh for being open to teach me how to navigate and reverse engineer the code base, and I also want to thank all the other git contributors, no matter how small the contribution. You all made my time here a lovely one overall, and I wish the best for the server, and for all of you amazing people for getting this up and running.

Much love to you all.
