Playing on multiple accounts

playing on multiple accounts back in the day was never against the rules, it was just the trading, playing on the same world, that was not allowed… so what if that was implemented? we’re not able to log into the same world as our other account, and so fourth. I just love playing two things at once, to keep my mind stimulated, so wouldnt mind either having a skiller on the side, or another side account to work on while im focusing on my main!

  • Do you think you guys will ever change the rule and implement something like RuneScape use to do? or is the rule always going to be the same.

I agree. Not being able to make a pure point account on the side is kinda bulls

If they did this they would get 2x players half will be alt accounts not talking to anyone.

Everyone would do it and they want to see how much actual players they have so i don’t think they will ever let this happen but we will see also would it only be 2 or more id be playing 4-5 accounts at the same time not gonna lie.

I’m fine with how it is but could go both ways.

Personally I’m happy with the rule as it is because there would be less interaction overall, an unfair advantage to those who don’t want to multilog, and a greater likelihood of rule breaking due to difficulty in monitoring multilog behavior (because it would no longer be outright bannable).

I read on a previous thread that they wanted the player count to accurately reflect how many people were actually online instead of it being inflated by alts.

Please don’t ever allow Alts, this is what ruins the Community/Economy… Nobody talks and prices are destroyed all around. Alts should be BANNED as they are an unfair advantage to the game.

Alts aren’t allowed but clans who deliver mats to 1 character are… I don’t mind if someone makes 2 accounts and plays in 2 windows.

Alts are allowed you just cant multi log or trade them items or drop trade items from your main.

as long as people dont rwt then people wont have incentive to bot. not allowing accs from the same people actually helps the bot issue.

for real… hurts the solo grinders that cant depend on clan feeding them supplies and stuff to help they’re grind… but i cant woodcut some logs on an alt… smh

Okay. I’m just speaking my opinions, I don’t feel this game will be all that fun if it turns into an “Altscape”. I could be wrong but I don’t know… Overall, Rules are Rules.

I can understand this, I’m a solo grinder as well. No clan or anything like that. Just makes it worth while when you actually achieve something, a True Grind.

Unfair implies an advantage that others can’t get. Other players would be free to make alts themselves, and with randoms being as deadly as they are it would still require close to 100% attention. Alts + no randoms + longer login timers is what made osrs “altscape”.

It wouldn’t be unfair in the slightest. If you don’t want to make an alt and risk playing on two accounts, that’s on you, but it’s not unfair.
