So recently, I have heard people getting banned for RWT/Macroing etc. I recently been banned for RWT, and now I understand why some players are frustrated.
The mistake is they banned me with no warning nor any explanation. I have submitted an appeal, in which nothing has happened. I feel like the games rule is a bit extreme as i have never beened banned on osrs/rs3 regardless all my years playing.
Could Mods please fix this, by explaning bans, reviewing them, give warning etc. I think such rules are not encouraging players to come back to the game, including myself as i could get banned again for something stupid like an IP-related ban for mutiple accounts etc
Players are not generally entitled to or owed any of the things you have requested (explanation, review, or warnings). The rules are clear and most offences are single-strike before you’re out. We provide ban reasons via the message centre.
If you have real-world traded, you have wasted your money and your account will be permanently banned. If you have broken the macroing rule, you have wasted your time and your account will be permanently banned.
This is exactly the intent. We do not want cheaters playing the game, period.
If you real-world traded, that means you enabled, aided, and abetted unscrupulous individuals in their attempts to profiteer off the back of an open-source preservation project. We would therefore consider you a hostile actor, and would prefer that you leave.
If you believe the ban was applied in error you can submit an appeal, they are answered in the order they were received.
