Does anyone know if AFTER you do Watchtower quest if you can still access the Ogre Cave with blue demons/greater demons?
If I recall correctly in RSC or maybe RS2 after beating it you could no longer enter. Is this still true?
You cannot. Our code checks your Watchtower quest stage and will deny you access to the ogre enclave if the quest is complete: Server/data/src/scripts/quests/quest_itwatchtower/scripts/enclave_guard.rs2 at main · 2004Scape/Server · GitHub
I do not know when this behavior was changed, but the Watchtower quest was reworked in December 2006 so somewhere around that time seems likely.
Thanks for speedy reply! Big decision. Until Castle Wars comes out Watchtower teleport is one of the only teleports over there. But private blues/greaters outside of the wilderness is a nice.
Wonder what most people will do. Hold off or just finish.

This date didn’t match my memories. It looks like people were slaying in there after the quest before dec 2006. I’ll keep looking for a more precise date of change

Looks like this was usable after the quest at least as early as april 2005

You guys really do your research. I always hopped for YEARS something like this project would be made. Knowing when I’m old I’d still be able to play single player RS. This last month has been a blast.
