Low level crafting

hey all, what’s everyone doing for low level crafting? I had planned on doing cowhides from 36-50 but they’re so expensive and hard to source lately. I could spin 5k flax but ouch…

What are you guys doing? Any suggestions?

That’s basically all you can do.

Cowhides or silver ore into tiaras.

I did alot of molten glass. Collected seaweed, collected sand. You can blow it into orbs and sell for decent money. Or save them for an eventual battlestaff grind. I’ve profited a fair amount of gp doing this - which allows you to buy the cowhides as well to speed it up. I’m very curious to see what xp rates can be achieved crafting snelms when mory releases

Shilo village mining is also fairly decent, mine and cut all gems, drop all semi precious after you’ve cut them but cut opals into bolt tips as well. Then you can craft the jewellery as well

I was in a similar predicament when grinding out the legends quest requirement and did a mixture of most of the methods mentioned. Spinning flax is what it is; slow and click intensive but extremely profitable. Molten glass/unpowered orbs worked out as overall better xp, and it gives you the option of doing battlestaves in the future; but like most things in 2004 it’s way more fiddly than in old school.

I wasn’t a fan of the shilo village mine as you spend more time waiting for the rocks to respawn/world hopping than you actually do mining/chiselling (assuming you have a glory); but the mining xp is solid.

The only other thing I would mention is to buy a ring of wealth early if you haven’t already. The passive uncut gems you get while killing most monsters do add up to a reasonable amount of xp once crafted into jewellery.

I got 30-50 recently and did mostly cowhide with some gems and silver bars. It was hard to buy many silver bars or gems. Just gotta tank the cost (probably 800k-1m for me) or do very slow/tedious methods.

I don’t think we can make opal bolt tips yet, can we?

I sell the cut opals etc to the shop.

I did flax to get to 31. what’s the problem with doing it that way?

He wants 50, low 30 isn’t awful but 30-50 just hits different with those super low rates

crafting guild farm cows and craft/drop, repeat.

hint: make hardleather bodies instead of coifs when u can, they are 1 click to make and u dont have to click thru the menu every time lol. and only 2 less xp than coifs
