I was banking at varrock west bank… then went to lumberyard(questing) and lost all my runes and clue items in my inventory? why?

ye there needs to be a purge alert for this random because everyones getting their cheeks clapped… this has officially done more damage then the falador massacre!

Can the mods put up an official warning post about this? So many people posting about losing items and are completely unaware of the brutality of 2004scape random events, especially Genies.

Eh, it took me about 5 deaths to get used to never afking
I’m thinking RS back then didn’t warn you about hostile randoms. Its a game mechanic like walking up to a dragon without a shield; you get no warning, you just figure out it’s not a good idea eventually
If this happened in 2004, what would you do?
Keep sound effects on and in loud volume, thats what i do. Can hear the random event even when afk.
