This is pretty annoying. It’s not enough to make me quit the game but it definitely is not helping. Even adding like 15 seconds to the timer would be great. I don’t agree with the notion that to keep the game “authentic” we need to keep such annoying “features” in the game just to keep players away. The game will be the same just without getting logged out constantly.
Make your own server. Code is there. The whole point which is stated all over is this site is to preserve the original code. Annoying features and all. If people want to tweak it a bit they are free to do so.
there’s many ways to get around it with ingame mechanics you just have to be creative 
I’m all for authenticity. My mitigation is to just rotate the same a bit every now and then, or go between skill menu and inventory.

The main purpose of this project is to recover, faithfully recreate and preserve runescape history timeline, update by update, every version, that is the first priority, the game being online to be played is just a bonus, the owners could care less if everyone quits, the project will still be worked on. This is the literal truth of the matter.
