Issues playing on mobile devices after update

Hello all! Before today’s update I have typically played in chrome on an android or iPad device with no issues. However, after today’s update the game freezes pretty quickly after logging in or anytime I try to open the bank. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I also tried to use Safari on the iPad and had the same issue.

I’m working on figuring out why some devices are failing to load – sorry for the troubles!

I suspect it’s either bandwidth or storage related, I’m working on debugging and hope to have a fix out later today.

Same issues here playing on chrome browser on a Google pixel pro 9 fold. Thanks for letting us know you’re working on it and thanks for the game it really is a treat.

What an unlucky day for me to be working all night lmao! Thank you to everyone working hard finding a fix :slight_smile:

I switched from high detail to low detail. Seems to be working I will update it I freeze again.

Teleporting from the rune essence still freezes me. I will try something else.

All of the fires near varrock west bank seemed to have cause me to freeze this time. I suppose I will wait a bit longer.

I have also noticed when playing on a mobile device now if you go to withdraw something as noted and click withdraw X, if you then want to go and type the amount in you go to click for the keyboard to come up and it just doesn’t let you type the number in what so ever. May just be me however!

I just deployed a new client – hard refresh (ctrl+f5 / clear cache) and it should be fixed. People on mobile may need to refresh their page twice.
