Im doing lost city and the zombies just will not drop a axe

I’ve had to leave and come back at least 5 times and everytime there’s something I’ve done wrong. Why are they not dropping it. am I unlucky? or what I’ve killed like 20

Hi, if im not mistaken the zombies on entranna have a 1/3 chance of dropping a bronze axe

i got it but dang was that extremly unluckly
