I’ve had the blue partyhat for a few months now in game and wear it every so often. Other players have seen it, but usually after a little chat about it and some light messing around, nothing more comes of it. Obviously in the last couple days, one of those players decided to massively blow the whole situation up, so to save the mods and discord constant discussion about the topic, I’m here to answer any questions about how I got it, why I got it, what I can and cannot do with it, etc. I’ll turn the top post into a question repository as people ask things.
Why blue?
Matches my osrs and rs3 accounts/fashion.
Are you allowed to give it away?
No, I can’t transfer it to any other player.
Is a jmod spawning a discontinued item authentic?
What are your contributions to the game?
How would you say it’s gone so far?
And how have your expectations changed (if at all) from Alpha & Beta, to release?
Can be about testing e.g. is it less exciting with less bugs to test?
Or dev timeline, did the March 29 release seem possible this time last year?
Even community size/hype if you want to speak on that.
What is your take on the ruining of authenticity for other players? It seems like its great for you, but a number of players like myself have questions about the future if exceptions like this are made
Realistically, this is something that shouldn’t affect any other players gameplay. It is less an exception that was made and more a promise that was made before even beta began being made good on by Pazaz since he’s a man of his word.
I understand it’s not personal, I just want to understand what you’re asking about here. “exceptions to the rules that exist are not in place to benefit the majority” is something I don’t understand what your concern is. Is it a concern about me gaining an in-game advantage somehow?
