It’s just not clear to me what you’re all trying to say. We all have lives outside of RS. That doesn’t mean the game should cater to that; that’s exactly what ruined OSRS. Just play the game when you can and don’t stress about it when you can’t. The rares are supposed to be rare, so it’s not reasonable to expect to get one. Only lucky people will get them. That’s RNG. It is what it is.

Maybe if players where not in the dark it may stop all the expectations of actually getting one.
There is no clarity on who, what, where, why or when. Nothing specific telling us how to actually obtain one other than doing actions? Fletched over 6k yew longs and alched. Most click intensive thing in the game IMO.
They don’t seem to be that rare to some? As at the moment seem as fast as 45 minutes to an hour.
However, like you say mate. It is what it is buddy! 
I did a 19? 20? hour session straight after finally waking up from a nap a little while ago. Fly fished, picked flax, mined ess etc.
I’ve finally relaxed into just playing normally, helping people with things, walking across the map, doing low intensity activities and likely will play much less the next weekends. If it’s meant to be it’ll be.

Are you familiar with how RNG works? Just because something is rare doesn’t mean people won’t get lucky and roll it within their first few attempts.

Suppose the expectation was high. Certainly won’t be wasting a weekend like that again any time soon for sure. Just play as I play and go from there.

There seems to be a split with two groups. One half dont care and say it is what it is. Then theres others that feel short handed after being loyal and consistent. IMO they should be more plentiful. When rares originally dropped they were extremely plentiful. It seems like the devs are trying to replicate the fact that most people didnt have them who played runescape. However, most people who played early enough to be there for the event DID have them. So on this server the people playing now who are here early enough for this event SHOULD receive them and it should not be as crazy rare as it is. Just my opinion. I dont mean to come off as ungrateful or anything, but some of us have been around since february and have stuck with it through 200 or 2000 people and it would be cool to have a wearable item to represent the fact that we are regulars and have been around. Idk lmk what you all think. I personally played like 14 hours ish and didnt get anything.

I’d like to see the window for obtaining the rares be opened to 24/7 access through a set date, like maybe through the end of the year.. that way the market is properly saturated with a fair amount of each item. I agree, it does not seem like there will be enough.. there needs to be hundreds of each, imo.
i agree. honestly if i dont get anything after grinding 24/7 i will quit

I’m guessing if you play every weekend over the next 4 months you’ll have a pretty good chance of getting a rare.
