Do clues dissapear on death?

i was doing a clue next to chaos alter in wildy, my next step was to go to lumby basement, i went into kbd lair insta teleported, arrived in lumby and got a hitsplat of 51 and died. all my items appeared on ground in lumby but the clue scroll…

Yes clues disappear on death. That same thing happened to me.
