I’ve been running into this weird issue while ranging Fire Giants in the Waterfall Dungeon — specifically at the middle path safespot. Even though I’m actively in combat and attacking, the game logs me out after a minute or two. There’s no cooldown or anything when I log back in, but it keeps happening.
Normally, I like to do other things on the side (like watching YouTube or browsing), since ranging from a safespot is usually pretty chill. But this logout issue keeps interrupting everything and kind of defeats the point of AFK training.
Just wondering… is this intentional or something to do with the area? Or maybe it’s some secret mechanic to preserve the true essence of 2004Scape? 
Would appreciate any insight if anyone else has experienced this or knows a fix.
