That’s pretty weird - both quests are implemented quite differently so there’s probably something missing in there. I’m surprised your quest point total isn’t just derived from completed quests - might mean that you can get unlimited quest points from reusing the scroll that does work lol.

I’ll have a look at it when I’m next at the code.

Hello Everyone! its still a work in progress but I helped the owner create an official discord server to have a centralized place for discussion and link hosting.

Since i got multiple scrolls for the first quest, i did test it to see if you could get more quest pts and you can’t. I did test the second quest and it didn’t give me any quest pts for 2 scrolls used. Hope that helps you when your looking into this.

Which quest exactly isn’t giving you the points? Is it Plague City or Watch Tower?

Watch tower quest. Also when you have a few minutes could you look at any of my suggestions and let me know what suggestions will never be considered so i can map out a plan on how and what im going to train.

Wow Borig, you’ve made the clue compass work perfectly, thanks! Just like the one in leagues. I have yet to receive a hard clue, but the easy worked perfectly.

I’ve got some suggestions for herblore secondaries. I’ve been fishing quite a bit, but haven’t received any herb secondaries from the mysterious old man. So it’s a good implementation, but doesn’t happen that often.

My suggestions per herb secondary are:

  • Eye of Newt - very easy to obtain, no suggestion
  • Ground unicorn horn - slow to obtain, drop 5 horns at a time?
  • Limpwurt root - very slow to obtain (1 in 6), always drop one?
  • Red spider’s eggs - easy to obtain, no suggestion
  • White Berries - easy to obtain, no suggestion
  • Snape grass - easy to obtain, no suggestions
  • Ground dragon scale - easy to obtain, no suggestions
  • Wine of Zamorak - Slow to obtain, have the monk of zamorak drop one as well

As for the recent suggestion of Rizer, I think it might be good for the game not to allow every quest to be auto completed. For instance, the gauntlets for family crest are the best in slot gloves for stats and provide a nice perk. In my opinion, those items (same with dragon longsword) should remain locked behind the quest. What you did for heroes quest is perfectly fine though, the qp requirement! Might want to look into the amount of quests that are auto completed.

IMO rerelease should happen after we have a points system, and we lock all these existing boosts behind perks like real Leagues

First let me explain why i suggested so many auto quests. I’m a lvl 3 skiller, so all the idea’s i suggest are from a skillers point of view. I hope the server becomes balanced where combat and skillers can train any skill they want and have ways to do it depending on there play style.

Second thing is the title has leagues in it, which to me is a fast paved game play. So im also suggesting ideas that will make training faster and less of a grind.

Only the server owner knows which way he wants the game to go but i already think its the best 2004scape server and im having a blast.

As for a reset i would love something like a competitive 3 month game and then the server gets reset and the top 3 players get prizes like rares to wear in the next round.

Either way im here to enjoy the server and have fun.

I like these ideas, here’s what I’ll add to the backlog:

  1. Update Hill Giants to always drop limpwurts.
  2. Update monk of zammy to drop wines.

I’ll leave the unicorn horns as is but make it so that grinding them (and dragon scales) automatically grinds so you don’t have to click 1 by 1.

The alpha tag is primarily because the whole setup is pretty jank and I hadn’t / haven’t really put much thought into what the future is - I just set this up as something fun because I like making things :D.

This is spot on in terms of the philosophy of what’s being built here.

With that said - 2004 Runescape only has so much content and quest skips decrease the content available. For this reason - I am against outright quest skips.

I’d like to find the happy middle ground where the quests can stay in the game, they are rewarding, but, if someone chooses not to do them (or can’t do them for their build) - they aren’t restricted from big chunks of the game.

I’m also bound by technical restrictions in terms of implementing a minimal change set - this, unfortunately, is the death of plenty of good ideas :frowning:

My intention going forwards is:

  1. Add two new maps, one for Karamja and one for Western Provinces.
  2. Remove the quest skips (after the maps are available).

The restriction here is simply creating the map interface - because I want it to be pretty like the existing map but that thing is a technical marvel and I don’t know where to start :joy:

I was having a great time autotheiving, but training magic while autoalching is a new level of dopamine for me

I can’t do either of these things sorry.

You can replicate your save file locally by using the ::advancestat and ::give commands (type them while logged in on local dev mode), e.g.
::advancestat thieving 99
::give rune_chainbody 1

To find out the names for items you can search in the codebase or just try and guess. Most of them are pretty normal.

So you can’t delete my account username rizer from your database so that i can use that username again. It only has 30 minutes of activity on it. I got logged out and i couldn’t get back in. I must of misclicked setting up my password.

@Rizer message me on Discord and we can yarn about this. I think it’s possible to delete the user and free the username - yes, although I’m a bit nervous to go rooting through the database. We might be able to use your account to test things out and work out some scripts to do this kind of user account admin with.

Just deploying a few things:

  • Fix for Watch Tower skip quest points
  • Add wine of zamorak drop to zamarok monks (100%)
  • Add limpwurt drop to giants (100%)
  • Auto repeats for a number of skilling actions (stringing amulets, clay, buckets of water etc)
  • Add two new maps, one for Karamja and one for Western Provices - these are available from general store in Karamja and Ardougne respectively.
