Dude, we were all given a disclaimer…stop trying to justify for the cheaters.
Hard disagree. Jagex actually did go hard on bots back in the day, but became soft later, because they got greedy. Resetting stats only to let players pay membership as they bot all their stats right back up.
No, botting = PERM ban. As it should be. Zero tolerance. This isn’t OSRS.

They’d also be “recapturing the nostalgia” by getting banned, AND having their names posted on a wall of shame the likes of those written by Andrew Gower himself.
So, yeah, botters are one group of people that are not remotely welcome here.
