There is a site 2004scape that will download a remote access trojan to your pc and someone will drain your bank on osrs 07. I feel like a dummy for falling for it. I played lostcity rs 1 time and i wanted to play it again but couldnt remember the website so i went to 2004scape by mistake.
Itd be nice if the admin would put a warning on the homepage to safeguard potatoes like me from getting hacked.
wouldnt be surprised with how much this game asks for my password for not afking. Thanks for awareness, I need to use a unique password here.
I love random events, like the emeralds and genie lamps, wish they would happen every 5 minutes literally. But this logout timer is bullshit, i swear i put cursor on game every min and it still logs me out
are you insulting OSRS? LOL predictable. OSRS is a far better game, you’ll never be able to complete OSRS while you can easily complete this illegal server.
You can decide by yourself if you wanna play this, sounds like you’re becoming salty because of the log out timer. You dont have to stay if you dont wanna. Stop being so toxic.
I’ll never understand the people who come to play and either 1) break the rules and get banned, or 2) realize that 2004 mechanics aren’t as cozy as OSRS (shocker) and then proceed to bash the server as if it’s the fault of the developers.
Just accept the fact that you are partly to blame here. Everyone here is playing the same game with the same QoL. You chose to play the “illegal server,” yet you didn’t care about the legality of it until you weren’t enjoying it, huh?
No im not at all blaming this server for my osrs account getting cleaned, i am informing everyone that there is a copycat website with a very similar website name and thats the one thatll install a virus on your pc
OSRS is in a sad state of affairs, the only people to compete against are bots :(. One of the things I like about 2004scape is that everyone is real. The accomplishments mean something
I checked the jar, it steals your Runelite credentials, browser cookies, takes screenshots of your screen, and adds itself to the Windows startup folder.
Good thing the real 2004scape is a webclient you don’t have to download
