Won't let me talk to Bravek (PLAGUE CITY)

I talk to the clerk after completing the steps required but when he asks Bravek a man needs to speak to you the dialogue ends and won’t me in the door to talk to him. Ive completed every step to this point with the dialogue being correct but just won’t complete. Please help

Grok helped me solve it, you need to go back to the house and talk to Alrena and Edmond to exhaust the dialogue before it’ll let you in to the room.

I think the actual answer is there is a bug (which may be authentic) where it doesn’t work if Bravek is too far from you when you get to that section of dialogue.
