Hello! I started a bit over a week ago and the reason I kept playing was because of the community here. I tried to pay back the person who gave me 100K when I started and he told me to pass it along to other new players which I have been doing. Anyway, I was woodcutting and said I was going to give away 150K to new players and someone donated 500 cooked trout, 200 cooked tuna, rune scim, rune shield, rune platelegs, 4 rune axes. I haven’t seen any new players hop on yet to W2. But when I started, someone was in saradomin armour and 0 hitting the man here for mage xp.. tried to give me gold and I refused. But hearing that, going to chickens, socializing with a guy, etc. all of my noob experience was great. The reason why OSRS was great back when i was a kid is because of the community - we had to communicate to know how to do quests, trade items, etc. We need more players to make the economy here flourish. So this is why I’m making this post - I’m looking for players to help donate their time and items. Low level runes, bows, bronze/iron arrows, gp, basic combat equiment, etc.

IF YOU DONATE: Post on this forum saying so, I’ll confirm it’s recieved

LOOKING FOR MODS: If JMods won’t support this, I want others to help accept/distribute to new players. I’d appreciate /donation posts and /recieved posts. New W2WC mods might have to prove they are giving everything given to new players.

ALSO: If you’re alching and willing to help new players; I’d like to give these items to someone who’s able to give away to the new players.

This post is from my experience. I appreciate the community so much and I want to return the favor to new players and I know a lot of you want to as well so I want to band together. If a JMod could take over the trades and such it’d be appreciated because I’m just trying to grow the community (and economy supply) from helping new players.

2 hours.. worth it. I only had one person, but they were so happy and grateful that it made it worthwhile.

Tbf it’s actually 2am EST here in North America, you will have way more chance to get more new player during evening weekday or during the weekend haha, but really nice iniative tho will love to help out during a future re-event of this !

It’s 3am now here. I’m just trying to give back to the community.. wanting to setup a welcoming group on W2 who are alching and able to give stuff away without interfering with their skilling. Not a lot, but enough to help them start off and players willing to give advice and tips to others.
