I wanted to make an update about this category. About a month or so ago, we had received many complaints about offshoot discords that caused the moderation group to come together and decide to let the owners know of any discords that the advertisements would be removed. We agreed it was the best and admittedly, the easiest option for us as volunteers to keep our playerbase safe, and to address the concerns we received at the time.
Now things have slowed down, we have allowed discord links back up. I want to be clear that we do NOT approve of ANY discords outside of the LC discord located on our main page. We do not have any other discords we moderate. We are aware that you as the player can make your own decisions, but be cautious as there are many different types of groups out there. We care about our rule-abiding players and want to make sure you are in a space that appreciates you. Many of the discords posted may or may not live up to these standards, and we simply don’t have the time nor the desire to join any of these other spaces to observe and take action.
If you have any concerns about anything you see on the LC Discord, please let us know. Some of our moderators/ developers may be in other discords; please do not bother them about LC unless they’ve given the OK- again, all of us are volunteers and often do not want to spend our time being hassled in other discords.
A warning to any discord group owners/moderators: If we continue to receive reports as we did previously, we will have to consider removing your discord link/ information from our forums to keep our players safe.
