Thanks Qpla! I actually gave the mask away to a friend who had died and lost theirs. I wear a t-shirt that says “Show me your kitties” a fair bit irl, which is where I got the name idea.

I am pretty much only runecrafting for personal use until super energies come out, and am focusing on building up most of my under 70 stats currently.

I’m picking and spinning my own bowstrings, and gathering my own herblore supplies, and mining some of my own ess to offset costs.

In terms of “efficiency” I’d be better off runecrafting and buying supplies, but I really enjoy the slower character building and the ability to do things without relying so much on other people.

IRL I’m working on getting my garden ready for winter, working on my vivarium, and doing things like visible mending, and self-publishing a Zine, and these things keep me on RS in small but frequent chunks.

Here’s a progress shot of a beaded project I made a few years ago.

Congrats on your level ups and progress, it looks like you’re having a good time progressing your account  I can relate to preffering collecting your own materials and progressing slower than if everything was bought and ready to go, feels more complete in a way. Have fun :confetti_ball:

I do a sort of weird buddy system thing with many of my stats where I have specific skills partnered up and try to keep them the same level as one another:

(eg. Agil + RC, WC+ Fish, Mage+ Range etc).

I’ve fallen behind on my woodcutting. I need one more WC level in order to level things out a bit. This is mainly a boredom killing strategy I use in order to keep myself engaged.

I’m having a lot of fun chopping maples for my next woodcutting level, but to kill three birds with one stone I’m doing this Meowgical Style.

I’m chopping one inventory of maples (I’m doing maples because my inner pyromaniac is wanting something a little stronger than my usual willows), banking those, & then I am chopping an inventory of plain logs and making them into arrow shafts as I meander my way to the flax field (I am also usually murdering a unicorn for it’s horn on my journey). I then pick and spin a load of flax into strings (I need 6.5k strings for the yew logs I have banked).

I then repeat this until I get bored or my butt gets sore from all the sitting.

This method is making a few tasks I find tedious a lot more interesting.
