I lost my ranger boots to a disconnect at blue dragons - put in a support ticket asking for replacement, was denied - then in my first or second inventory of pure ess I was given a pumpkin in the last inventory slot - at this time I had been a very active player, friends with many of the top ranking community members and was rapidly cranking up my hours - but due to the disappointment of losing my ranger boots I only played weekends going forward for the rest of the event

I then mined a ridiculous amount of pure ess for around 13/16 of the weekends praying for a party hat and never saw another rare. Many of my friends have similar anecdotal stories - all the ones who are top players or play often got party hats, all pmods etc - dog got a cracker. Any friend I had that wasn’t an absolute sweat but came back for fun left with nothing.

It was absolutely rigged and I quit over it, still love the server - maybe one day ill come back for some light fun but its not worth breaking sweat over now as the damage is done, most who quit or will taper off and leave won’t bother coming here either.

Such a shame, and artificial way to create an elite class - I even saw a Gold crown mod, Vye say “this will split the chads from the peasants who didn’t get a rare” on the last day. The rares should have just been given 1 per person on the chosen holidays at random.

Pmod here… I also did not get one despite hundreds of hours of grinding. That is the fate of RNG though. Nothing to complain about.

I’m a total nobody on here. I have low playtime, I’m not in a clan, probably outside of the top 5,000 on the hiscores. I don’t know any of the staff or players here, just a fresh face. Why did I receive a cracker?

That was obviously a mistake. That cracker was meant to go to the 04scape aristocracy. You can trade it to me to correct this.

This was probably me, but if so, then your recollection is incorrect. The exact line was End of rares is really gonna separate the noobs from the chads

The meaning, in context of the conversation, was that the end of the event was going to separate the people who will keep playing (regardless of having a rare or not) from the people who would quit (over not having a rare).

Nothing was said in any way, shape, or form about “peasants who didn’t get a rare” – I believe this to be your own embellishment.
