I seem to have found a bug where Ned has no option to make a wig after recruiting him for Dragon Slayer. His only dialogue options were about sailing to Crandor, which I went and did but now he still only talks about Crandor or making rope. I’ve talked to Leela and Osman multiple times and also had him make me rope but can’t get the wig dialogue option to appear.

This is an interesting one - it’s been reported by one other user (that I know of) and we’re not 100% sure if the behavior is authentic or not.
For now you will have to complete Dragon Slayer before you’re able to continue progressing Prince Ali Rescue.
Thanks for the quick reply. I was hoping to test that next, I’m just a little too low level for Elvarg still. Hopefully that resolves it, I’d hate for the quest to remain uncompleteable permanently.
You will definitely be able to complete Prince Ali Rescue afterwards, the issue is that the Dragon Slayer dialog is always prioritized if you are past the point in the quest where you have hired Ned.
