This is legitimately how unid purchasing has always worked and it’s not a scam - it’s the buyer only wanting to buy the herbs which will be useful for them, and is actually an anti-scam technique. I’m sorry if you aren’t familiar with this aspect of 2004 RS, but this is seriously correct and normal.

yeah bro if you sell in stacks of 11 you sell them in even stacks in bulk so the price averages out. You don’t preload 500 junk herbs and then 5-10 high level herbs and wonder why people won’t pay 800ea for your crappy herbs. Obviously it cuts both ways. Nihao was fixated on “no you buy all” … I refused. Simple as that. The previous seller had more even stacks and I bought all of them. Happy to buy lowers in bulk as well but obviously the bulk price would be lower for them (typically around 500ea). Also had previously paid 1k ea for his ranarrs as opposed to 780ea which he sorta left out because his words were “I’m gonna make you pay 1k ea for my ranarrs” lol … so that was all fine. I’m open to negotiate on however sellers want to sell their unids, but obviously I wasn’t born yesterday.
In his screenshot you can easily see that I acknowledged that I had purchased his ranarrs (I paid 1k each as he requested for them). That sound like someone just trying to scam unids? Typically a scammer may say “Oh yeah I bought a random stack of unids idk what they were, ill pay 780 ea for them.”
And if you disagree with me, I’ve got 11 stacks of herbs I’d love to sell to you for 700 each. Cheers!

Yes, I clicked “accept” — after spending over 5 minutes getting there based on an incomplete trade offer. If someone leaves out important details and waits until you’re standing in front of them to change the terms, that’s not honest trading — that’s manipulation.
Just because he technically gave me gold doesn’t mean the way he went about it wasn’t shady. You can dress it up however you want, but wasting people’s time with bait-and-switch tactics is still garbage behavior.

- the only thing you have said since then is calling people low intelligence and children, which is shows sign of immaturity and unintelligence.
- if you don’t like how the game is played, osrs and rs3 do not have unids and there is a ge, so you won’t have to worry about more challenging gameplay elements.
- the buyer can’t have sniped ranarrs if it was the second trade and dipped (he would have had to go through every herb until then and not given you the opportunity to sell more), you could have very well continued to trade him and sold the rest of the herbs he was looking for at the agreed upon value.
