I logged into kill blue dragons and my entire inventory was wiped?
i’ve lost all my runes and loot. What is going on!?
What’s your username? This can happen when you ignore the genie, he’ll drop your inventory on the floor. But I can check to see if that’s actually what happened.

Says right in your adventure log that you failed a random event and your inv was scattered. Don’t go afk in 2004scape.

So I just lost half my bank because I went to take a piss. Sick game guys.
I can confirm your inventory was dropped by a genie. Looks like you logged out about 30 seconds after your items were scattered.
2004 is a brutal and dangerous place, the game will routinely try to grief you via random events or other strange mechanics. Don’t take what you can’t afford to lose out of your bank, and most certainly do not go afk with your valuables!

The genie ONLY notes OR drops your inventory. Not your worn items. So if you’re going to go AFK. Don’t have good stuff in your inventory.

If you didn’t get a random event for a really long time it’s always safer to log out - if you just got one that’s usually the best time to go do what you want to do if you don’t wanna log out.
i think it depends if inventory full or not, i geared up and went to train, right before i got to spot i went to take a leak, came back and everything was noted but i was missing power amult and d chaps, kept vambs and coif lol. i could be mistaken but im pretty sure thats how it went down. maybe it was the old man? i wish i knew haha

Yeah, pretty obvious thing to not do. Don’t go afk, and if you do, don’t cry about it on the forums.

or you should just quit the game like me, killed elvarg and the quest didn’t complete and its causing more bugs
Not a bug, someone else damaged Elvarg before you and left. If you didn’t unlock the southern pass, you have to get the map again
The game being hard is what makes the levels and items rewarding and rare. Nobody can lose internet without risking their bank. Everyone has the same struggles

The AFKability in this game is zero. I was standing in Varrock east bank, looked away for a minute, turned back and I was standing outside the bank with every item I was wearing in my inventory individually noted. I haven’t looked away since.

It’s also a mechanic you learn to love as it highly discourages botting 
But yes, going for a leak and coming back to lumbridge castle or sitting next to hazelmere can be mildly frustrating - even worse when the genie has way with your items.
