I. IntroductionHello and welcome to my G&A thread! This thread serves as a way for me to have a place to document my journey, update those interested in an average player’s adventure and share my ups and downs as we get further and further into 2004, 2005 and 2006. 
I started playing Runescape in middle school and continued playing all the way up until 2013 at which point I quit after having reached my goals and having no desire to start OSRS.
Fast forward 12 years and here we are. I’ m more of a casual player these days, and I like collecting my own materials and resources to progress my skills. Playing simply to generate GP to progress my account was never fun for me and made playing the game feel more like a job rather than something I did to have fun and unwind, which is an important priority for me now.
II. Currently working on
as of july 18th 2025
- Main goal: Progress from 74 to 99 Woodcutting. I’ll be chopping maples till 80, then yews till 95 and finally magics till 99. This will give me some nice resources for Fletching and Firemaking and also bolster my bank when I alch the bows in the end.
Woodcutting level: 89/99
Maple logs cut: 17,500/17,500 
Yew logs cut: 20,137/38,700
Magic logs cut: 0/17,000
- Side activities: Thieving knights in Ardougne, fletching willow and maple bows during stun downtime.

90 Woodcutting achieved and ~19,200 yew logs chopped so far 
The levels are starting to take a while to get, and I’m looking forward to reaching 95 and moving on to magics. It’ll be quite something to cut the required 17,500 magic logs, but it’ll be a welcome change at that point.

August 12th 2025
Progress has slowed down a bit during summer as other things have taken priority, but a fair bit of logs have been chopped! This has resulted in 85 woodcutting and just 10 levels more to get until I move on to magic logs. 
I’ve also levelled up to 27 herblore from lamping. It’ll be fun to see how far I can get while levelling other skills and chucking all my lamps into herblore. 
Log stack is starting to look really good, and we keep chopping
July 22nd 2025
80 Woodcutting, my first level 80 skill, achieved! The reward was 17,5k maple logs which will be nice for fletching and firemaking when I decide to have fun levelling those two up. I’ve now moved on to yews, which I’ll be chopping 38,7k logs of for my next milestone, 95 woodcutting. 4900 exp per inventory and more time inbetween banking will definitely be a nice change.
July 18th 2025
Finally got around to making the thread, made a nice starting layout that I like and continued chopping maples. The links at the top aren’t working, but they still make the titles stand out so I’ll let them be.
My combat level is currently 45 which I’m planning on keeping it at until I reach 99 Thieving.
