I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on: LostKit, a toolkit inspired by Swiftswitch/SwiftKit but designed specifically for Lost City. It’s meant to be a one-stop tool for a few common tasks and to make some things a bit more convenient.
Some of the things you can do with it:
Various calculators to help with in-game tasks
A world switcher for quickly hopping between servers
Built-in IRC, using the original SwiftKit/Swiftswitch server, so you can chat with the community or staff
And a few other small utilities that make certain routines easier
For folks who prefer a lighter option, there’s also a Chrome extension called LostKit Lite, which lets you access some of the functionality directly in your browser.

Nice! Having all calculators, quest guides, clue help/co-ordinates help right there is unreal–plus the IRC chat for us with discord aversions–an absolute touch!
For me this is easily the best part of the client. I think connecting to the game with 3rd party software is extremely unecessary, but streamlining the process of joining IRC for normies is pretty dope. If anybody wants to hang out and chat I’ll be sitting in ~#2004scape~.
SmartScreen is being triggered because the program isn’t “signed.”
Since this is a personal Python project and contains compressed “.dll” files (which is normal for Python programs), that also triggers the SmartScreen.
It’s safe to run.
my only complaint is all is pop out tabs, mostly i remember the skill calcs, prices, hiscores, and bestiary all being in window and the rest was a pop out like clues world map and forums
You can open tools in either tabs or separate windows
You can also mix it up, keep some tools in tabs and others in separate windows by toggling “Open tools externally.”
Killer-feature request: A “random” screenshot toggle.
I love looking back at my playthrough, but I feel like I bias my screenshots towards achievements and never in-the-moment fun. I would love a plugin that takes screenshots randomly; whether it’s 10-15 minutes or every 45 minutes. I’m mind-blown Runelite doesn’t have a plugin for this, but I would LOVE if LostKit did!
