i created a discord account and tried to log in but it wont let me
also why the fuck do i need a gay ass discord account to play this game? i just wanna create my guy and play the game not this discord nonsense
Hi hansu, sorry to hear you’re having an issue with this. Welcome to the Forums and thank you for the post.
Firstly, the team was forced to implement the Discord restriction after a few maladjusted players automated account creation and used hundreds of accounts to grief and abuse the playerbase for over a week! 
Something had to be done, so it’s a case of a few jerks ruining it for everyone else. We’re not fans of it either, but it offers you and everyone else necessary protection! It’s all in effort to make the game better, trust us!
Past that, could you please share a little more about what you’re seeing or experiencing when you try to make an account? I can’t tell what’s going wrong or how to fix it with the info you’ve provided.

i understand completely the issues and im an og player from 2004 rs2 launch however i don’t like using these 10 different login systems to play games, so i rather wait for this game truly launch and hopefully the devs make the login better, at this point i’m not bothering it just seems so complicated and user unfriendly, it didnt even let me choose my character name or login name to the game, i confirmed the email for the discord thing but it still wont log me in, the forums where the only place it let me login

i click authorize and then it forces me to a log in screen and wont let me log in, it says Your Discord account email is not verified. but i did verify it in my email
We’ve seen this a few times – it’s turned out that the person had multiple Discord accounts (sometimes without realizing it).
Open Discord in your web browser: https://discord.com/channels/@me and ensure the email attached to that account is verified. Then try https://2004.lostcity.rs/login/discord again.
ya i probably have to open discord and check the settings there ive never used it before so thats probably it, i realize now that i verified the email to this game and not discord so i have to do both
