Hi im wanting to do the family crest quest and read you have tonuse all the blast spells
I trained to 42 on lesser demons and didnt get a single rune helm drop and it cost alot of gp on runes
Any1 got any good suggestions on spells to use and what to kill for fast exp and possible good drop

blue drags probably your best bet to break even on the 59 mage grind

Keep the hides and bones (or bury) and alch the alchables.
Edit: They also have a 1/128 chance to drop a level 3 (hard) clue.
Do clue scrolls, farm guards on east varrok bank using the gate, make gp
wizard mind bomb can lighten the load a little and boost +3 magic if youre just rushing crest gloves
I would suggest fire giants over blue dragons to be hohest. They drop a lot of fire runes at a time. Rune scimitar and fire battle staf. Plus other various runes. Easily safe spotted. Just my own opinion.
Not had chance to play much this week but this spunds good never done clue scrolls. Are they easy to do is there any online guides, and what rewards are qe looking at bein medium difficulty

Waterfall quest dungeon or deep wildy dungeon near mage bank
Cheers peeps found the fire giants in wildy, i came withiut armour n them pesky shadow spiders keep attacking me, do you reckon i should rune armor up and take a teleport, never done wildy can i transport while under attack
You’d be better off doing waterfall quest and killing giants inside there less risk. Plus multiple spawns inside no risk of you getting pked.
Cheer going to lool into it jist put my stats in magic calc and need to cast 15000 fire strikes so will be here a while. Plus side is now i killed a few spiders they are now leaving me alone
