So I’ve been grinding clues since members released. I don’t get as much time to play as many, so I’ve only completed around 34 (around 22 easy & 12 medium). I’ve not got a single unique yet, despite putting in tonnes of hours. I’ve checked the source code and it looks to be around 1/24 clues for a unique. So whilst I haven’t hit double drop rate yet, I’m finding this very demoralizing.
Has anyone else found themselves in a similar boat, or am I just getting unlucky?
It took me about 20 hards to get my first unique, since then ive done another few hards and got another unique. So all is good now
While it can be a bit demoralizing to go dry, you have to remember the historical context of clues being completely new in this version we are playing, only being released 2 weeks before. So just try to enjoy the historical significance of it. People back then could only dream of getting a clue unique with the few hours a week most people played back then.
A 1 in 24 chance is the same as 4% chance. And the more clues you do doesnt give you better odds. You could get a unique in 1 clue or 100 clues. But your sample of clues isnt enough to say the odds are off. You are just unlucky.
I understand the chance, maybe I didn’t word this well. I’m more asking if people think that the drop rate is too low (and how other people have been fairing).
