Is drop trading to an alt, a bannable offense? even in real RuneScape that wasn’t strictly enforced, if so this game is not playable.
clans transfer items to each other and there’s boosted people on high scores from donations, so to ban a person for drop trading to a pking alt when they farmed the items on a main is crazy.

Runescape is a social game (unless you play by ironman rules) - Working together is intended to be rewarded. Altscape definitely has its own appeal, but by making it against the rules, 2004scape has a unique economy (look at the price of ess!) and different play strategies
I feel like everyone will agree with what you said but making a pking account is not alt scape making 2 or more accts and funneling items and gold into your main is alt scape.
Making a pking account and only playing on 1 account is not alt scape is what most of the players don’t get.

I don’t think trading gold and items to your pures or other accts should be a bannable offense i think only multi logging should be a bannable offense since it basically stops alt scape by it self.

The rule against account interaction is clearly stated, and while enforcement may vary in different versions of RuneScape, Lost City has its own stance on the matter. The fact that certain behaviors weren’t strictly enforced in real RuneScape doesn’t mean they are allowed here.
The core issue is that drop trading or transferring wealth between your own accounts creates an unfair advantage, which is why the rule exists. Comparing this to clan members sharing resources or hiscore boosting is misleading, clan trades involve multiple players, while account interaction rules specifically target individuals benefiting from multiple accounts.
Transferring wealth between your own accounts is considered rule breaking, and assuming otherwise could put your account at risk.

disagreed there is no unfair advantage for a person with 1 main and 1 pking account,as the player farmed it on one account, multi logging is not involved, and the time saved is minuscule compared to the amount of abuses going on ingame,

I get where you’re coming from, but the rule isn’t about whether the advantage is huge or minor, it’s about preventing any form of self benefit between accounts. The moment you allow one exception, it opens the door for more, making enforcement messy.
The rule is clear: no interaction or advantage between your own accounts. It doesn’t matter if it’s a little or a lot, it’s still breaking the rule.

I understand your feelings, but don’t you think saying “this game is not playable” is a bit of an exaggeration? You can spend some time mining or running rune essence to get GP for PKing

Drop trading still includes multi logging.
And if a friend was to use your account to bypass the multi log and trade with you, that would be considered account sharing…
Farming gold on a main account to fund a pk account is disadvantaging every other legitimately made and self funded pk account.
Clans and associates can take advantage of boosting and not break the rules because they’re simply trading, benefitting 1 player or each other.
The rules serve good purpose, it is stability and helps preserve the economy while keeping gameplay authentic for each player.

true, players can also ask for donations, I made good money on my pure doing that
Mains making pures helps the economy since they need to buy runes arrows melee weapons food pots with out pking there is no economy for half the skills most players would buy 1 item 1 time and it’s done for some reason players are thinking mains trading items to a pure makes the game worse when in hindsight it only helps skillers in the long run since most pkers don’t train skills in 2004 back in the day we all know almost everyone in the game who made pures or alt pking accounts drop traded items over I DO NOT THINK MULTI LOG should be allowed but drop trade should be fine since thats really what happen in 2004 and it would be authentic.
I also miss drop trade hunting.
